These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at bdahouston.com and the referral service offered by BDA Houston, a DBA of Vector Fire LLC ("BDA Houston," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our service.
BDA Houston operates a referral and lead-generation service. We connect commercial property owners, general contractors, facility managers, and other businesses across the Greater Houston area with independent, licensed third-party BDA/ERRCS contractors.
BDA Houston is not a licensed BDA, ERRCS, or fire alarm contractor and does not perform BDA work. We do not design, install, program, test, inspect, monitor, repair, or service bi-directional amplifier (BDA) systems, ERRCS, public safety radio coverage systems, or any related equipment. We do not hold a fire alarm contractor license or an FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL). Any work you obtain is performed solely by the independent contractor you select and engage, not by BDA Houston.
The contractors we refer are independent businesses that are not employed by, partners of, agents of, or otherwise controlled by BDA Houston. We provide referrals as a convenience and do not guarantee, warrant, or endorse the work, licensing, GROL credentials, insurance, qualifications, availability, pricing, conduct, or performance of any contractor we connect you with.
While we make reasonable efforts to refer contractors who represent that they are licensed and insured, you are responsible for independently verifying any contractor's license status, GROL credentials, insurance, references, qualifications, and suitability before entering into any agreement. BDA Houston makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding any contractor or the services they provide.
Any contract, agreement, estimate, quote, scope of work, payment, scheduling, warranty, or other arrangement for BDA or ERRCS services is strictly between you and the independent contractor. You contract directly with the contractor. BDA Houston is not a party to that relationship and assumes no responsibility or liability for it.
BDA Houston is not responsible for any dispute, disagreement, defect, delay, damage, injury, loss, cost, or other matter arising out of or related to the services performed (or not performed) by any contractor. Any such matter must be resolved directly between you and the contractor.
You agree to use this website and our service only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate, complete, and current information when submitting a request. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it.
The content, design, logos, trademarks, and other materials on this website are owned by or licensed to BDA Houston and Vector Fire LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.
This website and our referral service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any contractor referral will meet your requirements.
BDA Houston (a DBA of Vector Fire LLC) offers a text messaging (SMS) program to communicate with customers and prospective customers who provide a mobile number and opt in. This section, together with our Privacy Policy, governs your participation in our SMS program.
Program description and message types. If you opt in, we may send transactional and informational text messages such as replies to missed calls, responses to your inquiry, appointment scheduling and reminders, quote follow-ups, and related customer-care messages. We do not sell or share your mobile information or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Consent and eligibility. Enrollment is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You consent to receive text messages by checking the SMS consent box on our contact forms, or by otherwise providing express consent by phone or in person. You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.
Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
Opt-out. You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or contact us using the information below.
Carrier liability. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BDA Houston, Vector Fire LLC, and their owners, members, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, property, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the website, our referral service, or any services performed by a contractor referred through us — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of our service shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BDA Houston, Vector Fire LLC, and their owners, members, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the website, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute between you and a contractor referred through our service.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by BDA Houston. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites. Your use of those sites is at your own risk.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
